I stand
gazing into the heavens,
Seeking for I know
You are there,
Forever my sweet Lord and
Savior,
The terminus of my fervent
prayer.
I long to see You Father,
Look
into your wondrous face,
You are my all and
all Lord,
I pray for Your Divine
Embrace.
There are no stars twinkling,
The
moon emits a soft hazy glow,
My heart is
heavy Jesus,
Laden with burdens to You I
go.
Lord do You tire of me calling
out,
Needing Your help so often,
I rely
upon You totally,
My hurt only You can
soften.
I am just so weary Jesus,
This You
already know yet,
I come to You in prayer
for,
Your children You don't
forget.
You are my Rock and Comfort,
The
stillness within my soul,
Peace would not be
mine Lord,
Without You e'er in control.
You are the Breaking of the
day,
My Shelter in dark of night,
In Your
Presence I am secure,
Troubles vanish in Your
sight.
Thank you dear sweet Jesus
for,
Cradling me when my spirit's
down,
You take care of my burdens,
Imbuing
Love's solace that
surrounds.
I stand gazing into the
