Life had many questions,
And the answers I couldn’t find.
Worry and doubt,
Often clouded my troubled mind.

My heart had known much sorrow.
I often felt despair.
I dreaded each tomorrow,
For no one seemed to care.

The load of sin I carried,
Had bowed me to the ground.
I searched for true happiness.
But, it could not be found.

In the midst of my confusion,
A still small voice I could hear.
It was the voice of Jesus.
He said, “My child, draw near.”

Then, Jesus broke sin’s chains,
And set this captive free!
He touched my blinded eyes,
And now I can see!

Now, I have such joy,
Way down deep inside,
Since The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
Within my soul abide!

I no longer search for answers.
My soul is Heaven bound!
I’m the happiest man alive,
Since the road to peace I’ve found!
