Sunlight beams in my window,
Rays settle over the bed,
I awaken to a bright morning,
Raise my sleep weary head.
Birds sing with such sweetness,
Greeting this brand new day,
I arise and look outside,
Animals are active in play.
I wish I could sing like the
birds,
Play like the animals without a
care,
I feel Your Presence near me
Lord,
Even my thoughts You share.
I kneel by the bed to say a
prayer,
Asking for peace in my heart,
There are so many problems Lord,
Seems each day a new one starts.
Many of my friends are
suffering,
To troubles my family is not
immune,
I look around and see evil
everywhere,
Saviour, I believe Your return
is soon.
Give me hope Lord for a new
tomorrow,
Bring sunshine to my worried
mind,
Chase away the burdens that
haunt me,
Father, loose the fetters that
bind.
I Praise the Name that created
me,
Lift my voice in Worship and
Song,
Forever in Your Presence Lord
Jesus,
This is the place I want to
belong.
Hope shines all around me,
Giving solace where worry did
bloom,
Peace and comfort are with me,
Amid the essence of Your sweet
Perfume.
I love You so much Father,
You are the depth of my soul,
Cloaked by Divine Love with,
Sweet words Your Praise I extol.
