With another chilly blast
Winter bids us goodbye.
The bright sunshine lets me know
Winter won't last.

Though the chilly winds blow
And the mercury drops low
The sunshine through my window
Lets me know Winter, harsh and unkind,
Will soon be letting go
And Spring time won't far behind.

The bright sunshine through the foggy haze
Lets me know 'fore noon
We will be having brighter days
With the haze leaving very soon.

As Spring makes its signature sign
With budding flowers peaking through
And birdsong filling the morning air
I feel a hint of Spring in the sunny glow
And surely it must be so...
Spring will soon be here
With beauty all around spreading happy cheer.
