Running through the raindrops On an April afternoon Around my little yard I go As I sing a happy tune Along comes Mr. Robin Happy as can be He stops just for a moment And looks right up at me And as Mr. Robin Begins to sing his song He quickly turns and flies away And I continue on I splash happily in the puddles Like I did in days gone by As the rain continues falling From its home up in the sky As I pass by my garden The seeds I planted there Are soaking up the gentle rain Soon flowers will appear The rain has stopped And now the sun Is shining Oh so bright I thank God for this special gift An April afternoon delight.
