Found not in leaves that scatter
Nor in Earthly things that matter.
Life has no purpose or it just dies?
What if tomorrow all hope flies?
If on God, we do believe?
There are promises, He does leave.
The Bible, our guide, for the task
In its wisdom you can bask.
Gives courage if things are wrong,
It steps in when there is no song.
When faith flees we will not quit,
Rescues out of the deep pit.
Who, but God helps to survive.
His power enables to thrive,
Right beside us, not in disguise.
When hope is dim there to arise.
Power of His love helps to cope,
Far stronger than a mortal rope.
Sent on earth to redeem and save,
Eternal life beyond the grave.
