A mighty wind blew night and day
But it could not break the Love
In my heart,

I was standing as strong as ever.
I still held my ground while things
Were falling down all around me.

The wind finally gave up and said,
How can you still be standing?"
I replied,

You can shake my limbs and make me sway
But the roots I have continue to grow stronger
In God and you will never touch them, you see,

They are the deepest part of me. Until today
I wasn't sure of just how much I could endure
Now thanks to you,

I have found that I am stronger than I ever knew
Before because I have the
Lord in my heart and soul.

So please, always remember you are stronger
Than any disappointment that life will ever bring
Because God lives in you.

I came to realize that on December 10, 2008 and
I know that my Lord will take care of me now
And forever.

Lord, I give You all the praise and glory for what
And where I am at this time in my life.
I thank You for my family.

But most of all I thank you for sending Your Son
To die on the Cross so that I may have eternal life.
I have not always been the best Christian.

But Dear Jesus, I try to do what is right. I Pray that
I will someday join my son that you have already
Called to Your Heavenly Home.
