I look out my window and what do I see
Bright sunshine and blue skies waiting for me
I will take a walk in the crisp morning air
The birds will be singing, oh Spring day so fair

I should not waste a moment of this wonderful day
It will quickly move on and soon pass away
I could fly a kite in the brisk March breeze
Watching it soaring so high with such ease

Or walk by the river in the afternoon sun
So peaceful and calming, and always such fun
Maybe follow a rippling, cold flowing stream
Holding so close its own secret dream

So many wonderful blessings are mine
This day soon a memory, a moment in time
I will savor each second and thank God above
For these wonderful gifts He created with love

Whatever I do on this glorious day
I know God walks with me each step of the way.
