At the midnight cry!
When Jesus comes again,
You can hear the roaring wind,

It's closer now than it was then.
When Jesus comes again,
At the midnight cry.

You will hear the trumpet sound,
When Jesus comes in the clouds,
At the midnight cry.

When Jesus comes again,
He will step out on the clouds,
To call His children Home!

At the midnight cry.
When Jesus comes again,
The Father will say Son,

Go bring your children Home.
At the midnight cry.
We will be homeward bound.

When Jesus comes again,
He will call the dead in Christ,
To rise and meet Him in the cloud!

At the midnight cry.
We will be going Home.
At the sound of the trumpet,

Jesus will be coming in the clouds.
At the midnight cry.
All the dead in Christ shall rise.

As the trumpet sounds,
When Jesus comes again,
The children in Christ shall rise.

At the sound of the trumpet,
At the midnight cry.
When Jesus comes again,

All the children in Christ will rise.
To meet Him in the clouds,
At the midnight cry.

When Jesus comes again!
He will take His children Home.
To live with Him for eternity,

At the midnight cry.
When Jesus comes again,
We are going home!
