How lovely are the swans that swim
silently in the pond,
As bread is thrown they barely respond.
Their gentle, serene demeanor seems to ignore
The presence of humans on the shore.
The mother swan guides her baby chicks
Between the lily pads with a series of clicks.
Glide you beautiful swans glide gracefully.
You leave the water so peacefully.
Sometimes the colors differ in the little ones
No matter mother knows each daughter and son.
Enjoy yourselves for the day is nearly gone.
Protect your family of little baby swans
Tomorrow is yours again at break of dawn.
I will see you again after tonight
When all with the world is just right
