There's a little
country Church which
To me is, Oh, so
grand;
Where a people whom
I love attend:
There we worship in
one accord:
Singing praises to
our Lord,
And His blessed Holy
Spirit does descend!

As we study God's
Holy Word,
And seek His will in
fervent prayer
Heaven seems to be
so very near!
There the Gospel
Story's told;
Sinners brought
within the Fold
As they seek and
find the Savior
sweet and dear.

Oh, that little
country Church is
such a
Hallowed place to
me!
It's the place I met
the Savior, Christ
my Lord:
How I thank Him for
that night
When the Spirit gave
me Light,
And on my sins His
cleansing Blood was
poured!

Though that little
country Church
Wasn't built to look
so grand,
I could travel
'round the world in
search;
But no other place
could find
Where I have such
peace of mind
As I find there in
that little country
Church!
