From a manger
made of wood,
To a Cross made of the same,
Traveled a Man of total innocence,
A Man who bore no shame.
He came to save mankind,
And they nailed Him to a tree.
What love the Father had for them,
Yet they were blind and did not see.
The Son of God who knew no sin,
Was made to bear the pain,
He spilled His Blood for you and me,
To wipe away our stain.
If only you will call on Him,
And realize He is the One,
Then Salvation is yours,
And eternity is yours,
And you will be called His son.
