A memory in time that lasts forever
Free to roam with my GOD into
the beautiful mountains as I please
Not at all knowing or
caring which way I go, I go with ease
Breathing the aroma of pine on
the soft summer breeze
Many kinds of animals can be heard
scurrying thru the under brush
Some would even stop and look,
as if to say; I’m in no rush
A herd of elk scattering
can be heard that was flushed
Looking down from a ridge,
a beautiful valley and a meadow far below
Surrounded by mountains with
their peaks covered in snow
A beautiful clear lake,
dotted with beaver on the go
The lake reflecting the near by trees,
mountains and the beautiful blue sky
And also the puffy white clouds that are
gliding right on by
Eagles soaring, watching with
their ever watchful eye
Swiftly moving and meandering creeks
beginning at the snow covered peaks
Moss covered rocks are
scattered all along the tumbling creeks
A beautiful rainbow trout seeing me,
a shelter it seeks
A carpet of wild flowers growing at my feet,
some red, yellow and even blue
Morning glories growing everywhere,
white and variegated too
What a beautiful place to
stop rest and not hurry thru
