Thanks to Calvary some years ago,
My life has changed around,
To give me peace through all my storms,
Since Jesus Christ I found.

My life was very shallow then,
My feelings, they were none,
No matter how hard I tried in life,
I always felt so dumb.

My heart was scarred with hatred,
From the hurt I hid inside,
My tears became so silent,
There were times, I’d wish I had die.

I fed the hurt with anger,
And it flourished overtime,
To leave me with a bitter heart,
And wasted years combined.

But Jesus always followed me,
Everywhere I’d go,
Trying so hard to open my heart,
So He could save my soul.

Thanks to Calvary I’m a sinner saved,
By Grace, thanks to Calvary I can stand
Here in this place, thanks to Calvary
My sins are washed today, thank You
Jesus for loving me here today
