As the night air
whispers around me,
A sudden admiration,
For you springs in my heart with
a new,
Romantic expectation.
The Bride and Groom with
their pageantry,
Are gathering all around,
Love is in the air this
evening,
Most definitely profound.
Lavender roses Calla
Lilies,
Flower arrangements in kinds,
Lavishly set topping the
tables,
Bringing out the finest lines.
All the ladies were given
a rose,
The gorgeous lavender shade,
To embellish their dress, gown, or
bag,
Treated to keep never fade.
Fancy foods parade the
long tables,
With fine Champagnes flowing down,
Into elegant crystal
glasses and I see,
Many guests are quite renown.
The evening is yet young
and the moon,
High above sends out its glow,
The music plays love songs
throughout while,
There's an inviting hello.
Suddenly catching my eye
are you,
Handsome virile standing there,
Looking intensely at me
only,
Funny how I feel your stare.
Beautiful ladies and
handsome gents,
Nodding heads and shaking hands,
Tip toeing round seeking
their pleasures,
Dancing their all grand night stands.
Hearing sounds of
triumphant laughter,
Rings happiness I'm feeling,
Just watching your smile
spread cross your face,
Truly you are appealing.
And you make me feel so
beautiful,
Glancing my way with that smile,
Specifically then turning
round,
Staring toward me a long while.
While you seem to be
taking my breath,
At the same time I'm not sure,
What your intentions are
or if you're,
Being coy trying to lure.
Yet as the night air
whispers round me,
A sudden admiration,
For you springs in my heart with a
new,
Romantic expectation.
