Happy Holidays

By the picture window stands,
A beautifully decorated Christmas tree,
There are ornaments of,
Every shape and size for every one to see.

The beautiful flashing lights of,
Every color tells a story to me,
The green is for the newness of,
Life as Jesus set me free.

The red is for His Blood that was,
Shed on the Cross at Calvary’s hill,
Blue is the sadness I feel for,
Those that know Him not at all.

The white is for His pure love that,
Jesus has for me still,
Purple is for His royalty,
The royal robe that day.

White is also for the Star in,
The East showing all where baby Jesus lay,
Choir of thousands of angels,
Sing praises to the new born King.

The Wise Men by that Star were,
Faithfully led along the way,
Joy to the world for it’s,
The Birth of the new born King.

A special ornament, the Nativity,
Mary, Joseph and a baby boy,
That Christ child lives in all,
Our Christmas celebration today.

Yes! He lives in our lives and,
Fills our hearts with joy,
Peace and Salvation is,
Ours when ever we pray.

The un-told story of
The meaning of the Christmas lights
