He is not delaying because He won't guide.
He wants me to listen and to abide.
Through waters shallow or very deep.
My God leads; His Love I seek.

There may be valleys, peaks, some tears.
He holds me, leads me through the fears.
In His Love He never delays.
No matter how twisting or rough the way.

For the Israelites He parted the sea,
Will He do anything less for me?
If the answer seems to come so slow
It's then I learn, and then I grow.

He may not always answer yes.
But I rest in Him, His way is best.
