He is there before I call,
Ready to lift me when I fall.
God to me, my all in all.

When I fail to do my best
He steadies me, helps me rest.
Gives me strength to pass the test.
Praise You, Lord!

If I struggle in the day,
Can't find the path, the way.
"I love you, child," I hear Him say.
Praise You, Lord!

When my words are less than kind.
I'm hurrying, falling behind.
A word of peace comes to my mind.
Praise You, Lord!

Some day I'll be with Him above.
Peace surrounding like a dove.
There I will find no greater love!
Praise You, Lord!
