I gazed at
the pieces of my life's puzzle,
With utter dismay on my face,
As I wondered if God would show mercy,
And put them all back in place.

I had tried on my own,
To ease the unending pain.
Even when friends tried to console me,
Their efforts were in vain.

I needed a miracle in my life,
Of this I was quite sure.
Vain was the help of others.
They could offer me no cure.

Ah, but then I heard Jesus say,
"Come unto Me and be made whole."
"All doubt and fear will disappear,"
"From your troubled soul!"

So, I came on bended knee,
In answer to His call,
And Jesus heard my earnest plea,
As I gave to Him my all!

Now, even though strong winds may blow,
And clouds may turn to gray,
This I surely know,
He'll be with me all the way!
