God's Word is quick and much alive
It just penetrates my soul and spirit,
Lord You are familiar with all my ways,
I will trust and serve You all my days.

My Bible is more precious than gold
Far greater than pearls, I ever behold.
It's in God's Word I find such delight,
It brings me joy both day and night.

When I'm hurt my Bible is my joy and calm
Oh such peace I find within the Psalms.
When I'm sinking my Bible is solid ground,
With my Lord one day, I'll be safe and sound.

I will trust in God's Holy Word
And keep my eyes upon the Cross,
Lord, I give You first place in my heart,
Please God consecrate every part.

Lord I come into Your Holy Presence
On bended knee to You I bow,
May Your Holy Spirit fall fresh on me,
Cleanse me Lord to be more like Thee.

It will be joy one day to hear Him say
Come, "My Child, Come and Rejoice today,
I'm waiting for you with arms open wide,
Come on Home, you are part of My Bride."
