The morning is so
beautiful,
The sun is shining bright
Sky is such a lovely blue,
with puffy clouds so white
Birds are at the feeder,
making little morning sounds
The squirrels are running through the yard as
They make their morning rounds.
Sunflowers turn their faces to
The bright sunshine
I am very thankful
That another day is mine.
Thank you God for all your blessings,
And as I enjoy this day
I know that You walk with
Me each step along the way.
Bless my family and my friends,
Each stranger in the street
For You know all the troubles
And sorrows they will meet
If I can help someone today
And ease their aching heart
Then I will know that
I at least have tried to do my part
And when this day is over,
And I lay my head to rest,
I hope you whisper to my heart
"I know you did your best".
