A future now declining
Life's sunset on my face
Eternity awaits me
My loved ones, I embrace

Sunrise came so long ago
The dawn was fresh and new
Time so fleeting stripped away
The freshness of my youth

Deciding how I wished to go
Adulthood's many demands
Entrusting all to faith in God
Resting safely in His hands

Rejoicing in every moment
Of the time that I have here
Sinking into twilight
Uncertainty with no fear
