Thanksgiving is a day we give thanks
For everything we hold dear,
Our families, friends, our land of plenty
And our God who is always near.

We thank You God for our health, opportunities,
To worship, our freedom to live the life we plan,
For wisdom, mercy, and the love You have bestowed,
For the harvest that’s reaped throughout our land.

We thank You God for the babies
You have entrusted into our care.
Give us wisdom, love and patience
To teach them to love others and be fair.

Thank You for our parents and elderly
And the many who has gone on before,
And left us with a start in life
For a history that worth fighting for.

Thank You for this day set aside
To give thanks and reflect upon,
May we always remember You gave it to us,
As we watch each rising and setting of the sun.
