The tobacco and hay are in the barn.
The crickets are singing all day long.
Soon the corn will be dried and brought in.
We'll be ready for Fall to begin.

The grass will soon turn brown with the frost.
Some will be sad that Summer is lost.
The pumpkins will be ready, orange and ripe.
The moon will shine brighter each harvest night.

Then all the leaves will turn red and gold,
Re-telling a story that's yearly been told.
And we'll see again the season that outshines them all.
The ending of Summer, and the beginning of Fall.
