I count my blessings everyday
That God put me in your pathway,
For I was lost and all alone
Facing trials on my own.

But my God knew, that I needed you
To make me smile, and help me through
The storm that almost took my life
And left me empty, filled with strife.

Now you can see why I love you
With a blooming friendship ever true
For you have brought out the best in me,
Now my smile is finally free.

I will thank God forevermore
For you have made my spirits soar
