Every evening now there’s
A sharp crispness in the Autumn air
There’s a great change taking place
And it's everywhere
The cold and crispy frost at night is
Chasing the green away
Warm days of Summer will have
To wait another day
The change is on the mountains
And in all of the valleys below
Matching almost all
The colors in a beautiful rainbow
The very beauty of gold, red and brown is
Showing up everywhere
Blending of the colors,
Nothing, no nothing can compare
The forest is very quiet now except for
The softly flowing breeze
Bringing with it the pleasant scent of
The drying leaves
And the whispering sound of
The gently falling colorful leaves
Piling up on the path that
Wanders beneath the trees
The joy of meandering aimlessly
Without concern or even a care
In a beautiful forest that
Our God wishes to share
