God has His
own way of answering prayer,
And helping us our trials and pains to bear.
An answer may come when day is done.
Or when a new dawn brings a new sun.
God's answer may be different than we expect.
Before He answers He may guide us through tests.
To see if we really deserve what we ask.
To see if we can bury our willful past.
The answer may come in a whisper barely heard.
Or in the sweet, sweet song of a Summer bird.
But one thing is certain when God answers our
prayer,
We must be ready, and listening, and waiting
there.
The next time you have a burden too heavy to
bear
Ask God to take it, He always answers prayer.
