Life is only a short visit
So don't waste it with worry and hurry
But make the most of it.

Take time to hear the blue bird's song
And smell the roses.
Take little thought of what life poses
But give it your very best
And surely you will be blest.

Then, leave with a smile on your face
For you are going to a far better place
Where peace will fill your days
As round the Throne of God you raise
Songs of eternal praise.
