The night I came to Jesus,
I was weary, alone and sad,
You see I had no feelings,
And that was very bad.

I looked down at Christians,
And judged them all the same,
Because my heart was bitter,
My emotions were so drained.

I could not forgive the unkind words,
That tore my heart in two,
So I built a wall around my heart,
That no one could get through.

I spent years alone in bondage,
In my corner all alone,
And very little did I care at all,
My heart was as hard as stone.

But Jesus gave this gift to me,
Of writing my feelings down,
And later as the years went by
His Love I finally found.

Now I try to do my best each day,
To serve Him everyday,
To plant some tiny seeds of love,
To bring some soul His way.

I cannot go back and change things,
But there’s one thing I can do,
Is share my love for my Jesus,
And I hope it reaches you.
