An Hour With You~*~What To Do When Things Get Hot~*~

There were three boys in years gone by
Who had to take a stand
They looked a King right in the eye
And challenged his command

The King decreed throughout the town
When music filled the air
That every soul must just fall down
Before an Image there

This Image made of solid gold
Was ninety feet in height
Nine feet in width so we are told
It brought the King delight

Not everyone would go along
With what the King had said
Three boys would sing a different song
They had no fear or dread

These boys were far away from home
No help from family now
Amidst the pressures they did roam
But they refused to bow

Some evil men spied on the boys
And went to see the King
They said , those boys just stood with poise
And to their God they cling

The King now showed his anger phase
And ordered up a fire
The boys were thrown into the blaze
As flames soared even higher

Each person gathered there that day
Was sure those boys would die
But God arrived and made a way
They wouldn’t burn or fry

The King of Kings took charge of things
And walked them through the fire
This is the help the Savior brings
Of this we never tire

When times are tough and fires are hot
And laws are made that stink
Remember not to get distraught
Just trust the Lord and think

Just think of Shadrach, how he stood
And how God brought him through
And how old Meshach loved the good
And saw God’s power too

And not the very least of them
Was strong Abed-nego
His branch was fastened to The Stem
The God he’d come to know

And you My friend can faith acquire
And by God’s Word be taught
And He will walk you through the fire
When things are getting hot !!!
