In the first letter you wrote to me
You told me you were a very nice guy.
It soon became clear to me
You were right, and time passed by.

We met in warm and sunny July
At that old Kentucky farm.
Within days we knew we both were
Meant to be together, feeling peace and calm.

From Kentucky to West Virginia
I moved without a care.
Knowing God had planned it all.
Knowing what happiness I'd find there.

The years all flew so swiftly,
So many laughs, some sorrows, too.
We've faced them all together
Through rain and storm and skies of blue.

God has blessed us with much joy
There's been good health, some bad.
And you always find a way to make me laugh.
Even if I want to get good and mad!

Tom, you are my special Valentine.
You are all to me, including friend.
I'm proud to be married to the nicest guy.
