There's a joy within my heart and soul,
That words can never explain,
And it comes from knowing Jesus Christ.
And believing on His name.

I was just a dying lonely sinner,
With nothing at all to give,
Until I met my Jesus,
And He came in my heart to live.

I don't claim to be perfect now,
Many times I may fall,
But when I call on Jesus,
He is there to take my call.

I could not live without Him today,
With my sorrow and my pain,
For many times He’s carried me,
And lifted me up again.

The cross made all the difference,
And thanks to Calvary,
I can bare my pain and sorrow,
And my sins are now set free.
