Jesus my Savior arose from the dead!
He purchased my pardon and did what He said
The grave could not hold him, His power prevailed
The devil tried hard, but he certainly failed

Because of the work that my Savior has done
Redemption’s completed, the battle is won
He’s preparing a place at His table for me
For once I was blind, but now I can see

I’m thrilled to belong to this family of God
Where sinners repent and the angels applaud
If there was not an Easter, a Cross and a Grave
The world would not know of The one who can save

I rejoice in the fact that the price has been paid
I never need doubt or be sad or afraid
For Christ gave His all when He died on the tree
And when He arose, He set people free

So I’m living by faith in the joy of the Lord
God’s wonderful peace is an added reward
The tomb has been conquered, the stone’s rolled away
The Savior now dwells in His vessels of clay

In all of Earth’s history, there never has been
A Savior like Jesus who saves us from sin
Who calls us to love Him and serve Him today
For He is The Truth and The Life and The Way
