I went to Church today
I needed to hear the Word of God
And what our Pastor had to say
I also needed solitude to pray

So much goes on in our lives
But God is leading our way
I praise His Holiness daily
I need Him in my life to stay

There's never a day that I am alone
I can feel His Holy Presence
I cannot imagine life without Him
He just asks for our obedience

God never gets our full attention
And He asks so very little
He never makes demands of us
He is so loving, kind and gentle

God has given us free will
We are allowed our own choices
Are you going to listen to God
Or all those other voices

God's Voice will give us Salvation
And an eternal home in Heaven
Accept Him today, don't wait
And all your sins will be forgiven

He is the true Heavenly Father
The only one that can set us free
Read God's Holy Word and accept Him
Then I am sure, we will agree
