Spring is almost here,
I can feel it in the air.
The Jonquils are now in bloom,
And humming birds will soon be everywhere.

Easter is just around the corner,
When the world springs forth new Life,
Bringing a glimpse of God's creation,
That brings to us new light.

The grass will be sprouting,
New tender nice and green,
And Dogwood trees will start to bud,
To welcome in the Spring.

Then soon will come the time,
To open their snow-white blooms,
With brown blood spots on their petals,
Reminds us how Jesus rose from the tomb.

I'd rather have Jesus, than riches untold,
For He is all the world to me,
Without the shedding of His blood,
My life could never be.
