Thank You Heavenly Father in Heaven,
For Your precious gift called love,
Thank You for all the blessings Father,
You have given us from above.

Thank You for Your tender mercies,
That You give to us each day,
Thank You for Salvation Father,
That is ours when we pray.

We could never make it Father,
In this bitter world today,
If we never had You in our hearts,
We would always stray away.

Thank You for the mountain tops,
And for the valleys below,
For Father without the valleys,
There’s no way we would grow.

We don’t always understand Father,
Why such suffering has to be,
And why so many heartaches,
That forever seems to be.

But I just long more for heaven,
And Lord to look upon Your face,
And listen to the story,
How You saved us with Your Grace.
