I pause to take a moment,
Out of a hectic day,
To thank the Lord for blessings,
He so often sends my way.

God is never too busy,
To hear me when I pray,
He walks along beside me,
Close to me He'll stay.

I need to give to Jesus,
Each burden that bears on me,
He is the Master of Solutions,
He loves and sets me free.

I cannot face tomorrow,
Without trusting in my Lord,
He gives to me sweet guidance,
Throughout His Holy Word.

He loved me enough to die,
Upon a Cross at Calvary,
Each pain my Lord suffered,
Was His love showing for me.

Thank You wonderful Jesus,
For each Blessing large or small,
Thank You for Your love for me,
And lifting me when I fall.

I’ll take more time each day,
Just to spend alone with You,
Sweet praises I will sing Lord,
Of a Heavenly Love so true.
