I feel like smiling,
Because I have such peace.
Each day my blessings just get greater,
More than I could ever speak.

I fret about so few things,
Because my sins are gone.
I feel protected day and night,
I never feel alone.

I can go to sleep at night,
No worry on my mind,
Because I'm satisfied,
My troubles are left behind.

Tomorrow, be God willing,
Another day will come,
And I'll face it with contentment,
For I'll not be alone.

And when I'm tempted,
I have a place to go,
For all my doubts and cares are covered,
Of this I truly know.
