Moments of
despair undenied
When I suffered and cried
Thinking there was no hope
And was unable to cope.
Followed by moments of joy Divine
When You showed that I was Thine
For you sheltered me from the storm
Protecting me from harm.
Moments of sadness that over took
With loss and being forsook
When loved ones turned away
Abandoning me failing to stay.
Moments that dragged on and on
With unspeakable misery
Seeming to have no end
And against the pain I could not defend.
Moments when I failed
And angry words expelled
But though I vented long
My mistake I could not atone.
Moments feeling sad and alone
For all friends seemed to be gone.
None came to call
Never keeping in touch at all.
Moments that ruined my life
With little hope to overcome
But much to my delight
God intervened and my life was made right.
