When storms of
doubt and fear assail
And it is hard to cope
In You I know I can prevail
I’m holding on to hope
For You have said that mountains move
When faith is very small
So Lord I follow in that groove
And watch them move and fall
I lean upon Your precious word
And press toward the goal
For what I’ve seen and known and heard
Lives big within my soul
I will not falter in this fight
Your grace will see me through
I walk by faith and not by sight
I’ll share Your point of view
I am Your child; You know my name
You speak to me each day
Though trials may come, You stay the same
You answer when I pray
It’s sometimes yes and sometimes no
And sometimes wait and see
But through it all I always know
You’re watching over me
I’m resting in Your tender care
Your love is warm and kind
My burdens You will always bear
You give me peace of mind
I know today I’m in Your will
As I kneel down to pray
Your Spirit whispers – “Peace Be Still”
