In the secret of His Presence
I find joy and perfect peace
By His Majesty and essence
There’s a hope and sweet release

I know in life there’s sickness
And my God permits some pain
But a turn to Him with quickness
Means I’ll probably not complain

Amidst the storms and ups and downs
My God remains the same
His grace and mercy still abounds
O Praise His Holy Name

It matters not in His great plan
That I know every play
It matters most I be His man
And walk the narrow way

A way that leads to God above
And everything that’s good
A way that knows His perfect love
Can then be understood
