I thank God for sending
you my way,
I know things happen for a reason,
He knew I needed a friend like you
Someone I could love and trust to call
friend and would be a friend.

You always know what to say
sharing your love and kind words with
me when I'm down and not myself
you're always there for me.

There are other friends in my life
but you are my Dearest Friend one I
count on in time of sorrow, you bring me
joy every time I hear from you, In my heart
you will always be.

I want to thank you for being my
friend through good times and bad.
God knew what He was doing when He sent
you my way; He knew I would be your friend
for the rest of my life.

You have been a blessing to me, and I love
you dearly, there will always be a bond
because you are in my heart to stay.
Right where God wanted you.
