A Boy and His Dog
Cannot be separated
They are the very best friends
On day one their love was activated
The dog was an orphan
Someone dropped by the wayside
What a dreadful shame
Just took him for a cruel ride
No food, no love, no warm bed
No consideration for his few needs
He won't want anymore-
This family has many breeds
The little boy romps everywhere
With lil' Spot by his side
This one won't leave the shelter
He claims his home with much pride
Thank you God, for loving families
Who adopt pets that are abandoned
All pets are a creation of Yours
Their lifespan needs to be broadened
