Lord, as I start this new day
Give me faith enough to see Thy way
So my thoughts and deeds
Will be what You need
To show another the way.

May the words of my mouth
And the meditations of my heart
Be pure and clean
So my love of You might be seen
And nothing come between
To keep us apart.

My wish is always to please You
In everything I say and do
So when this day is done
My soul will be at peace
As all fear I release
Knowing I am safe in Thy loving care.

You fill my heart with joy
As I contemplate the blessings You send
Even though many I do not comprehend.
Forgive the many times I sin
And draw me close to You again
So I feel Your loving presence surrounding me.

I praise Your name
As I see the renewal of Spring
With healing rain and greening of the land
Followed by the budding of flowers
And hearing the birds sing
Accompanied by the melody of the wind.
Beautiful blessings of Spring You send from Your loving hand.

Now, Lord I will go about my day
Knowing You will guide the way
My steps will take
As I strive to do my best
Knowing I need Your help for I am weak
And Your help I constantly seek.
