Can You hear my urgent plea

I have tried so hard, Lord
To be a good wife and mother
But living with an alcoholic
Makes me wish for another

Forgive me for these feelings, Lord
But the abuse has been too hard
Some days I have just prayed to die
And go to my Heavenly reward

I would be safe and secure then
No more tears and abuse to endure
Please help me to survive this, Lord
I can't take any more of his furor

I need your guidance, Lord
Please show me the way to go
