I will never forget
She wore apple blossoms
In her curly brown hair
On the Spring day we met.
So beautiful was she,
The beautiful lady who was to be
My bride in the Fall
Because in love I was to fall.
This beautiful lady became the Mother
Of our children as we built our life
Full of blessings with more love to give
All the days we would live.
Through the years
We shared more joys than tears.
That we were happy was clear
With our children so dear.
Today, I place apple blossoms
In her silver hair
And see her beauty still there
With love shining in her eyes so blue
For one who will love her till the end of
time,
This lovely lady of mine.
