Come my love let us take a stroll,
As the early morning dew,
Blankets the sleepy flowers,
Glistening like diamonds new.

Walking along the well worn path,
Splashing waves create a mist,
Sending droplets like tiny tear drops,
Upon our faces freshly sun kissed.

The lighthouse still throws a safety beacon,
Guiding ships in the waters below,
Arm in arm we walk along contented,
Enjoying an awakening nature show.

Thankful for each other's love,
We are blessed with deep devotion,
Just a look into your eyes,
Stirs within me sweet emotion.

I cherish these early morning strolls,
Close in body with arms wrapped around,
Your nearness brings me such delight,
I am secure in a love that surrounds.

How the sweet memories flood my soul,
Listen to the birds singing,
Bringing back so many years of love's,
Happiness in the morning.

Stopping often for a quick kiss,
Took longer for our stroll each day,
Our path was filled with young love,
Excitement and joy paving the way.

I reminisce over the past years,
Thankful for each day of your love,
Knowing that we have been blessed,
By the wondrous Lord up above.

Come my love let us go back home,
I feel a chill in the air,
We've had an early morning stroll,
And it's time for our prayer.
