Dear Father up in Heaven above,
I come to You this day,
And bring before You Father,
All that has passed my way.

First I want to thank You Lord,
For the blessings that You give,
And I thank You Lord for guiding us,
Through the storms of life we live.

I pray for all the sick dear Lord,
And all the hurting too,
I pray for all the lonely people,
That you would see them through.

I pray for the entire world to be,
At peace forevermore,
And for those who do not know You,
You would knock on their heart’s door.

I pray You give me compassion Lord,
So all the world will know,
Just how much I love You Lord Jesus,
Down here on earth below.

Help me to be a friend to others,
As You would have me be,
Please forgive me when I stumble,
This I asked of Thee.
