Oh Lord, You and You alone,
Are my hope and inspiration,
Without Your Love upon me,
My soul would die of starvation.

You are the words that feed my spirit,
In Your Living waters my life doth flow,
I cling to You through each day,
Your presence, comforts bestow.

You walk beside me giving strength,
When life grows stormy and hard,
I know You are with me protecting,
I find shelter with You as my guard.

When burdens weigh down upon me,
Oppressive, slowing my onward stance,
I reach out to claim Your promises,
Your Light gives position to advance.

The Bible is slated as my roadmap,
Giving guidance through each trial,
Words of Inspiration fuel my journey,
One day I'll see my sweet Lord's smile.
