I found this Little sparrow,
He could hardly move his wings.
He had fallen from the nest above,
Now at the mercy of our King.

As the Mother bird flew around,
Not knowing what to do.
She swooped and dove in front of us,
Looking for a clue.

The same as any Mother,
Caring for her child,
She feared her baby would be harmed,
Before her very eyes.

Just imagine the fear she had,
Faced with such despair.
Knowing something must be done,
She can't just leave him there.

It's so wonderful to know God cares,
When danger comes our way,
Just as the little sparrow,
That fell from the tree that day.

He's there to rescue us,
And give us safety in His care,
He will never turn His back on you,
And then just leave you there.

Just as God sees a fallen sparrow,
I thank my Lord for His loving care,
For whatever may befall me,
I know He's always there.
